This place took me back to flavors I grew up eating at home. Made me miss my mother but brought a smile to my stomach everything I ate the enchiladas. Well done!!!
I've never been here before but I've been very curious to try it and I'm glad that I did. I got the three enchilada plate with beef steak. The plate was $12.99 it came with three enchiladas that had cheese inside, a piece of beef and these delicious seasoned potatoes. It came with a lot of salsas too! The food was fresh and delicious!
Let me start off by saying that my family is from Apatzingán Michoacán and we have 5 tias who are sisters and are the matriarch of our family. I took them to eat here and let me tell you when they took their first bite their eyes sparkled. The food tasted just like the food they grew up eating in their neighborhood in Apatzingán or like if they had cooked it themselves. I had the enchiladas from here once to go and they were delicious but eating at the restaurant is a whole different experience because the freshly made food looked amazing on the plate. So far I've only had the enchiladas and green chilaquiles and the quesabirria tacos and all were really really good. Also I must add that the service was great. We were a big table of 8 and at no time did the staff seem flustered. They were very welcoming and checked on us often. This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant but it's even more special because it has all the foods I grew up eating and have a homemade taste. My tias are already talking about coming back next weekend. This place is tia approved!!
This place resides in the same location as the original Nest restaurant location and even before that it used to be Fronks. If you're from Bellflower then you'd know. I must say, I truly hope this business does well. The food was delicious!! I tried the enchiladas with carne and was so pleased with the flavor. The prices are so reasonable and the portion is huge. I got 5 michoacanas enchiladas in my dish along with the carne and papas. The service was also really good and they food came out quickly. I will definitely return and also tell more people about it.
